Posted: 21/4/2012 We currently have 35 people paying monthly membership. We have had approximately 50 people play for the 1st XV and a similar number play for the 2nd XV this season. We need everyone to be paying subs to enable this club to run and to help us provide things like physio, stash etc. The forms are available from the membership section under the club tab. Please please start paying your subs, do not wait for me to hound you.

BL Final
Posted: 27/3/2012 The 2nd XV will play East London II at Southend RFC in the league plate final. KO will be 16:00. Merit League Final
Posted: 25/3/2012 The 2nd XV's impressive season could have the prefect ending after they made the Final. Chelmsford pulled out of the semi final. Confirmation of fixture will be posted as soon as we know.
Good form continues.
Posted: 25/3/2012 The 1st XV’s good form has continued with an important 20-15 win over 3rd place Harlow. A strong second have display gave Campion the edge, tries were scored by Luke Maguire and MJ. Campion have two games left against Upminster and South Woodham Ferrers. It looks like the relegation battle will be going to the wire!
Campion School in Essex Cup Final
Posted: 20/3/2012 The school have 3 sides in the upcoming essex cup finals, the U16s will play at Barking RFC this Thursday (22nd March) 7pm KO and the U13 & U15s playing at May and Baker sports clup on Sunday (25th March) 11am & 2pm KO, if anyone is free im sure all support would be grately appreciated

Posted: 18/3/2012 A young 2XV were unlucky against a well drilled Braintree yesterday. The Final score of 38-22 was an unfair reflection on the match, where Campion pushed the visitors until the very end. Some good kicking and a couple of late tries gave Braintree the edge. On a positive note, there were plenty of fine individual displays and hopefully some of these players will soon be pushing for 1st XV places. Hopes for survival still intact
Posted: 17/3/2012 A 17-15 win over 4th place Norwich left the Old Boys hopes of playing London rugby next season still alive. With 15 points up for grabs in the last 3 games, all is to play for. 3rd place Harlow visit Parc des Cotton (24th March) in a crucial fixture that is a must win. This will be followed by a visit to rivals Upminster, and the final home game against South Woodham Ferrers. Todays performance has put the Old Boys in a great positition and will carry this momentum forward into the last few games. Training Wednesday as usual 7:30pm, lets all make the effort to be there. 2nd XV Merit League Table

Posted: 14/3/2012 Pat Curley will be leading a medal winning group of Olympian's down to Brighton to show the local's how to drink your own body weight in sugary alcopops and dance like John Travolta, we may even try to play a game of rugby. Posted: 14/3/2012 Parc des Cotton will be a full house this weekend, with both the 1st and 2nd XV hosting tough matches.
The 1st XV host Norwich in a must win game for The Old Boys.
The 2nd XV host Braintree in what will be a tough challenge for the 2's hoping to keep their impressive season on track.

Posted: 14/3/2012 Campion travelled to Sudbury last Saturday, where unfortunately they were on the wrong end of a 36 - 5 loss. Hopes of avoiding relegation are still alive with 4 matches left.
