First and foremost, thanks to all the lads who played for us throughout the year. Without everyone dragging themselves across Essex every Saturday, we wouldn't have been able to play as many games as we did.

Now is the time to start building the squad for next year. If you yourself fancy a run out for the mighty twos next year, or know of anyone that might, let myself or our new manager, Rich Tucker, know and we'll let you know the plans for preseason.

Last but not least, congratulations to our player of the season - Liam O'Brien. The flanker put in a fantastic effort on and off the pitch, making the old lumps in Essex Merit 4 look their age!'
