Despite enjoying a nine point lead at the interval following an outstanding try involving dynamic carries and clever hands by both Conor and Steve Canny and superb link play from Pat Cussens, Campion were beaten 15 - 18 at home to Rochford.

The Old Boys only had themselves to blame as countless passes went to ground and a number of balls were dropped in the in goal area.

Despite dominating the play and enjoying the better of the set piece Campion were not clinical enough to defeat a streetwise Rochford outfit.

Credit to the visitors who took full advantage and showed their rugby nous to close out the win. For the Old Boys a harsh lesson in London 2 rugby.

Credit goes to the tight five of Canny, Gleeson, Tilly, Kyle and Fitzmaurice who again outperformed their counterparts. Gleeson picked up the MOM award for the second home game in succession.
